50th Anniversary of Police Week

A Week of activities and awareness talks throughout the island at the various schools. Concerts, car raffle with dinner & dance to round off the entire week. (Activities start at various times)

St. Gerard’s Garden Party

Showcasing cuisine from other islands prepared by members of St. Gerard’s congregation; live music and dancing. (6:30 – until)

Annual Flower & Garden Show

One day of flower displays and competitions on the grounds of Wallblake House. (11:00 am – 6:00 pm)

March 2nd

James Ronald Webster Day

Public Holiday: Speeches and tributes to the Father of the Nation (James Ronald Webster) takes place at Old East End School and Grounds. (8:00am – noon)

March 5th – 12th

Annual Women’s Week

Features radio interviews with 15 women in the Anguillian community discussing their successes, challenges and ability to stay motivated despite obstacles. Events include an International Women’s Day reception sponsored by His Excellency, the Governor, Mr. Tim Foy,  and Women’s Empowerment Luncheon hosted by CuisinArt Golf Resort and Spa.

Annual Moonsplash Music Festival

Takes place at the Dune Preserve on Rendezvous Bay, normally around the first full moon before Easter. The concerts are hosted by Anguilla’s very own Bankie Banx, featuring internationally-acclaimed and regional recording artists from around the world

Annual Festival Del Mar

Celebrating all things of the sea in the beautiful fishing village of Island Harbour. Deep Sea fishing competition, swimming races, crab races and culinary competition, and live string band music are all part of the activities for this two day event. B-Class boatrace on Saturday and A-Class boat race on Sunday (10:00am -6:00pm)

Public Holiday: Fun Sports Day amongst Government Departments and Private sector companies. James Ronald Webster Park.

National Day of Prayer

Marks the beginning of the month-long Anguilla Day Celebrations to commemorate the revolution of 1967. An entire day of prayer at the House of Assembly, churches and other public places throughout the island.

Anguilla Culinary Experience (ACE)

The Anguilla Culinary Experience (ACE) is a new, five-day international festival.  This May, talented chefs from Anguilla and around the world will showcase why Anguilla is the Culinary Capital of the Caribbean through curated epicurean experiences at world-class resorts, villas and restaurants that draw on the island’s rich history, creativity and fresh farm- and sea-to-table ingredients.

Public Holiday: Public Holiday: All uniformed organizations parade at James Ronald Webster Park in the morning and cocktails are served in the evening at Government House to invited guests. A Class Boat race at Crocus Bay.

Annual West Fest

West Fest is a new festival in the West End that is designed to showcase Anguilla’s diverse community in the form of food. The Caribbean Cookout which will take place along Meads Bay (between Carimar and Blanchard’s) will host stalls of food from the various Caribbean islands resident on our island.

Welches Fest

Public Holiday: Held the ball field in Welches Village, Welches Fest takes place the ball field in Welches Village on the public holiday of Whit Monday each year. Starting at around 5:30 am you can have an old fashioned breakfast of “flour pap” (a type of porridge) to start your day. All things at this fest are of yesteryear, including food, drinks, toys, games and music. 5:30am – 8:00pm.

Annual Men’s Week

Features radio interviews with 15 men in the Anguillian community discussing their accomplishments, trials and ability to stay encouraged despite hurdles. Events include a Father and Son Prayer Breakfast in recognition of Father’s Day and a Men’s Networking Luncheon hosted by CuisinArt Golf Resort and Spa.

Annual Miss “Tiny Tott” Pageant

Part of the Pre Summer Festival events. This Pageant takes place at the Landsome Bowl Cultural Centre for girls ranging from 6-9 years old. A fun evening for the children with Cartoon Characters.

Annual John T Memorial Cycling Race

A 75-mile (120 KM) regional cycling event that commemorates the life and legacy a pioneer in the cycling arena in Anguilla.  The race starts in The Valley and continues eastward to the Sandy Hill roundabout, then on to West End , then on the way back to The Valley, looping through Sandy Ground and back to The Valley.  Male Cyclist traditionally complete three laps along this route.

July 30th

South Valley Community Street Fair

Members of the South Valley Community unite and produce a fair with local food, cooking competitions and music. (8:00am-6:00pm)

Anguilla Summer Festival

A celebration of Caribbean Carnival activities by night, and traditional Boat-racing by day, pageantry, music and street dancing. (various starting times at LBCC, and Anguilla’s spectacular beaches). (5:30pm – until).

August Monday | Emancipation Day | J’ouvert Morning

Caribbean Beach Party (Sandy Ground)
Taking to the streets in the Valley at 4:30 am and reveling to Sandy Ground accompanied by the leading local bands. Then it’s the A & B Class Boat races and the hottest Caribbean Beach Party. 4:30am -2:00am

August Thursday | Eyes Wide Shut Day Break Fete

Public Holiday: This holiday commences with the Ultimate Anguilla Carnival Day Break Fete, Eyes Wide Shut on the Sandy Ground Field, beginning at 12:00am.

It is also a great day for picnics and family reunions and the ATB-sponsored A & B class Boat races at Meads Bay, with Live Entertainment from 10:00am- until.

August 5th

Constitution Day | Grand Parade of Troupes

Troupes from villages all over the island come together on the last Friday of Summer Festival to parade through the streets of the Valley. Colourful costumes depicting cultural and fantasy themes and the winner of Road March is announced. (1:00-9:00pm)

August 6th

Anguilla Poker Run

An all-day event that attracts up over 100 boats from across the region, that make four stops at Da Vida’s in Crocus Bay, Island Harbour, Rendezvous Bay and Meads Bay. Each stop features a different beach party, loads of games, competitions, music, food, drinks, dance contests. The winning poker hand receives $5000.

Tourism Week

Includes Valley Street Festival and Taste of the Islands, Church Service, school and industry-wide awareness, educational activities. The Event Climaxes with the AHTA Grand Gala and Awards banquet.

Valley Street Festival (as part of Tourism Week)

Local vendors, Farmers Association, Scouts and Guides and the Department of Youth & Culture in partnership with the Anguilla Tourist Board bring this event to the area of the Agriculture Grounds with Domino, face painting, live music and games. (10:00am-6:00pm).

16 Days of Activism

Includes Gender Affairs Unit events in recognition of promoting social justice and human rights in Anguilla; encouraging community service, eliminating poverty and hunger, and ending all forms of violence and discrimination.

Anguilla’s Optimist Race Against Aids

A public awareness campaign to raise funds for AIDS research and related services.

Christmas Tree Lighting & Valley Christmas Festival

A Festival of lights illuminating the entire Coronation Avenue.  Christmas Activities and Entertainment at the Trough in The Valley, next to the Department of Natural Resources (Agricultural Grounds).
